Ficus lyrata, commonly known as the fiddle-leaf fig, is a species of fig tree, native to western Africa, from Cameroon west to Sierra Leone. It grows in lowland tropical rainforest. It has leathery, glossy fiddle-shaped leaves with wavy margins and hairy undersides.

The Bird of Paradise originates from the coastal forests of South Africa. This species grows much taller than the well known orange flowered variety, and adds a beautiful forest feel to a space. This species flowers, but only when grown outdoors.
Strelitzias are very tolerant of a wide range of environmental conditions. They are suitable for areas that cool down over night.

Aspidistra Elatior is a species of plant native to Japan and Taiwan. It is known for its high tolerance of neglect hence the name ‘Cast Iron Plant’.

Howea forsteriana is native to Lord Howe Island off eastern Australia. This palm is an elegant plant, extremely popular for growing indoors.

Chamaedorea is a genus of 107 species of palms, native to subtropical and tropical regions of the Americas. They are small palms with slender, cane-like stems, growing in the understory of the rainforests.
Dracaena deremensis ‘Warneckii’ are hybrids of Dracaena deremensis. The close relation means that the care is quite similar.
Sansevieria is a genus of about 70 species of flowering plants, whose common names include mother-in-law’s tongue, devil’s tongue, African spear, bow string hemp and snake plant. They are native to India, Indonesia and Africa.
Spathiphyllum wallisii is one of thirty six species in a genus of tropical evergreens. It was discovered in the late 19th century growing wild in Central America. Spathiphyllum are prized for their large white flowers that appear sporadically throughout the year.
Monstera deliciosa, commonly known Fruit Salad or Swiss Cheese Plant, is native to Central America. It is a climbing, evergreen that is most noted for its large perforated leaves on thick stems and its cord-like aerial roots
