Customer Need
The office of Republik Communications is a modern refurbishment in an old warehouse building, with a largely open plan configuration. While the somewhat minimalist nature of its interior decoration gave their office a contemporary feel, it was felt by the management that they needed to make it more personable to their staff and the numerous clients that visited regularly.
Solution
After a thorough consultation with Republik's management team, Ambius Indoor Plants recommended that a number of strategically placed plants and trees in contemporary-style containers would bring a more naturalistic presence to their space without compromising on its modern atmosphere.
The plants Ambius selected were a mix of minimalist Dracena marginata canes in the main traffic areas, Ficus binnendijkii in the open plan areas and a selection of Phalaenopsis and Kentias on the desks.
This also provided some welcomed privacy to the staff in the open plan spaces and helped reduce the noise levels in this bustling office.
Result
It ultimately enhanced the contemporary feel in the office and provided a warming influence in what was previously a rather stark and soulless interior.
